A few other favourites include Meloneras Golf Course, perfect for spectacular sea views, Salobre Golf Resort, the only one of the Canary Islands to have two courses and finally Anfi Golf Course, perfectly balances a challenging game and unique volcanic landscapes.

Home to the largest city in the Canary Islands, Gran Canaria has an array of things of things to do, particularly in the capital Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. Not only will you come across stunning beaches with golden sands, bustling bars, top-notch restaurants and a range of hotels and apartments nearby, but there is also a phenomenal historical quarter that we highly recommend you get stuck in to. You will find gorgeous, cobbled streets and a variety of architectural styles, ranging from late Gothic to Renaissance. It doesn’t stop there! For those with an interest in culture should pay a visit to Casa de Colon Mansion, Santa Ana Cathedral and the Museo Canario, all three will make it worth your while.

The cuisine in Gran Canaria is truly sensational. With a wide range of gastronomical delights, there is something to suite everyone. The great thing about Canarian cuisine is many of their traditional recipes are locally sourced with beautifully fresh and natural ingredients, but with a twist.
